賈林,魏宗萬,孫飛虎,朱藝,李穎三毛（賈林 Jia Lin 飾）從來就是銀幕上喜劇人物。這次，三毛從軍了。抗日戰(zhàn)爭全面爆發(fā)了，無所事事的三毛一心想著為國立功，加入了軍隊。不料，新兵訓練的時候就笑話百出。手榴彈實彈投擲訓練時，三毛一不小心就將手榴彈投到了戰(zhàn)壕里，搞得全軍上下一片烏黑。稀里糊涂的三毛隨后參加了一支敢死隊，笑話百出的他和隊友們竟一股全殲了敵軍。 抗敵有功，三毛高升到后勤部，不用再上戰(zhàn)場了，卻成了師長姨太太的跟班。整天被使喚也鬧了不少笑話。不料兵敗師長自殺，三毛又重投兵營。一次執(zhí)行空降任務(wù)時，三毛和以前的知心戰(zhàn)友遭到伏擊，大難不死卻落入深山。一等就等到了抗戰(zhàn)結(jié)束，三毛和戰(zhàn)友早已成了野人。

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
