This film mixes a realistic story with surreal imagery, showing how one in isolation may operate due to the circumstances he has been given. Issac inevitably makes a choice and never questions the morality of his decisions.

由特洛伊．肯尼迪．馬丁編劇的本片描述二次世界大戰期間，五名別具用心的大兵率領一隊美軍開坦克沖破德軍防線，到敵后的銀行搶劫一批價值一千多萬的金子。導演布萊恩．G．赫頓企圖以喜劇方式拍攝戰爭冒險片，但效果不甚理想。不過幾位主角均有鮮明個性，演出不錯，尤其克林特．伊斯特伍德的表演更是受觀眾好評，加上故事情節異想天開，故本片仍維持了一定的娛樂性。
