　　2020年，在香港首次發現穩定蟲洞，人們可以通過穩定蟲洞回到歷史上的時間節點，為了防止有人通過蟲洞回到歷史并破壞歷史，時空管理局應運而生。 時空管理局擔負著校正歷史、讓歷史按著既定軌道運行的使命。然而時空守衛隊隊長左石，卻突然率領五名部下，攜帶著超出時代進程的槍支武器，闖入蟲洞，回到了歷史中的秦陽城，意圖以顛覆歷史要挾時管局在48小時內關閉蟲洞。 為了挽救歷史，女探員景彤臨危受命與前守衛隊隊長秦朗，帶領新組建的守衛隊，配備青銅武器回到歷史之中，阻止左石一行。

　　一卷神秘的中國古代卷軸，由于蘊藏著巨大的力量，邪惡的壞蛋們個個都想得到它來統治世界；一個來自中國西藏的無名武僧（周潤發 飾），為了保護著卷卷軸，一直過著顛沛流離的生活，他幾乎躲遍了世界的每一個角落。直到有一天，武僧覺得累了，于是，他開始物色合適的人成為自己的弟子，將這個艱巨的任務繼承下去。街頭混混卡爾（西恩?威廉?斯科特 Seann William Scott 飾）偶然中幫武僧解了圍，或許是心靈感應，武僧感應到這個混小子就是自己的傳人了，于是決定將一身武功傳給卡爾。卡爾開始了他對抗邪惡的艱難宿命。

On this journey of encountering many traps and dangers, Cygnus discovers what has been hunting him is his identity.
