Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　超人狗最初是一條在警隊服役的普通小獵犬，因為執行任務時的一次嚴重失誤，被革職。流落街頭的小獵犬被捉到一個動物研究所，邪惡的西蒙（彼德?定克拉吉 飾）博士在那里對流浪狗進行試驗，希望能創造出一條超人狗。　　小獵犬大鬧實驗室，陰差陽錯成了超人狗，并逃了出去。研究所的一個保安在下班的時候遇見超人狗，并把它帶回家，希望借此改善和兒子的關系。　　在家里，超人狗發現自己不但力量強大、速度驚人，而且還能說話和飛翔。在保安之子的鼓勵下，超人狗決定用自己的力量服務社會，與此同時，邪惡的西蒙博士則在琢磨怎么奪回超人狗，還計劃著一個陰險的陰謀……
