　　以乳鴿店立身的安德森（曾志偉 飾）赴上海創(chuàng)業(yè)，卻迷上炒房，將妻子氣死也未思悔改，這天安德森在影院偶然聽到代言新樓盤“碧水云居”的過氣演員潘志強(qiáng)（黃渤 飾）放出的“內(nèi)部消息”，遂再次籌款預(yù)搶購新房。與此同時(shí)，新婚的昔日售樓小姐羅茜（姚晨 飾）為碧水云居付出五萬訂金后，驚系該樓盤周邊林立各污染源。潘志強(qiáng)擔(dān)任樓盤主持嘉賓并為售樓公司鞍前馬后，只希望對(duì)方能為自己的新片注資，不料卻被要求退還訂金的羅茜糾纏，潘志強(qiáng)心生一計(jì)，令羅茜將房轉(zhuǎn)賣安德森，事成后自食其言拒退訂金，羅茜無奈只得曝光樓盤內(nèi)幕，結(jié)果引發(fā)連串反應(yīng)，使潘志強(qiáng)與安德森發(fā)現(xiàn)自己陷入了開發(fā)商之局，于是各人苦思脫身之法……

　　Based on a true story. 1996, open sea. During his shift on a transatlantic ship’s deck, Joel, a religious Filipino sailor, discovers Dumitru, a Romanian stowaway hidden between some containers. If he is spotted by the Taiwanese officers running the vessel, Dumitru is at risk to be thrown overboard. Joel decides to hide him, as a sign of his gratitude towards God. Soon, a dangerous cat and mouse game begins. When his crew, his own friends, even God itself start to turn their backs on him, Joel learns that he has to face his cruel destiny alone.

　　Can I Get a Witness? tells the story of a mother and daughter in a near-future world where huge sacrifices are made to maintain life on Earth.　　With its resources swallowed by e-waste and overpopulation, the world is experiencing an anthropogenic collapse. To manage, technological advances are shunned. Nobody has electricity and only people with exceptions are permitted cars. Most importantly, there is also a collective agreement that nobody is allowed to live beyond the age of 50.　　Oh’s Ellie lives with her teenage daughter Kiah (Keira Jang), who is starting her first day as a Documenter, an important role in this new world order. She uses her artistic gifts — beautifully conjured in animations — to draw the dying ceremonies, since printing and photography have been banned.　　Kiah is paired with Daniel (Joel Oulette), the young man who performs the contractual elements of each person’s end-of-life ceremony. He matter-of-factly provides the packages a person can choose, sets them up when the time comes, and performs the burials. But his new coworker is having a hard time handling the emotional impacts of the job.

 本片是由哥倫比亞電影公司出資委任電視紀(jì)錄片導(dǎo)演皮特?戴維斯（Peter Davis）拍攝的一部探討美國為何在1959-1975年期間發(fā)動(dòng)對(duì)越戰(zhàn)爭，越南人民的悲慘遭遇，以及美國人民對(duì)越戰(zhàn)態(tài)度轉(zhuǎn)變的紀(jì)錄片。這是美國本土首次放映直接采訪刻畫越南平民慘境的影片，片中多次表現(xiàn)了美軍將領(lǐng)的種族主義和美國政府對(duì)國內(nèi)人民的無恥欺騙。電影于1974年在法國嘎納電影節(jié)首映，隨即便因內(nèi)容的嚴(yán)重爭議性被哥倫比亞公司擱置。制片人波特?施耐德（Bert Schneider）與亨利?蘭格（Henry Lange）向哥倫比亞公司買回了版權(quán)，并終于1975年通過華納公司在美國公映。本片獲1974年奧斯卡最佳紀(jì)錄片獎(jiǎng)，并被提名同年金球獎(jiǎng)最佳紀(jì)錄片。
