一樂也
本片是由三個民初故事《十粒金丹》、《千萬小心》、《一樂也》串聯而成的喜劇小品。《十粒金丹》:商會主席任洛天(許冠文飾)地位超然而且風流成性,可惜年紀日增令到雄風不再,故此任向友人購得印度春-;十粒金丹 希望再顯神威。任服-后,立即找其情婦小紅(恬妮飾)交歡一試-力,怎料就此一命嗚呼。鎮上督察長(許冠文分飾)奉命調查此案,小紅為免損害自己的利益,決以美色與金錢令督察長合謀假稱任是反動份子 《千萬小心》:老婦傅于氏(許冠文分飾)因心胃痛到一公立醫院診治,此醫院服務一流,護士長(恬妮分飾)以及醫生(谷峰飾)等人更是對傅老太招呼周到。但手術進行時,傅老太才發現這班醫生原來烏龍百出,傅老太慘被耍得沒氣抖。《一樂也》:;一樂也 理發店學徒阿壽(許冠文分飾)向理發師傅(姜南飾)學師多年,但卻一事無成。一晚,阿壽被師母(胡錦飾)吩咐到靈堂守夜兼打麻雀,以為可以明正言順地偷懶大發橫財,想不到靈堂之尸首竟神秘消失

Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present. Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
