美國男孩斯考迪（斯科特·麥克洛維茨 Scott Mechlowicz 飾）在德國網友米克（杰茜卡博爾絲 Jessica Bohrs 飾）的幫助下，德語成績大有進步，學習飛越然后高中畢業的他卻迎來了被女朋友甩的倒霉事，淪為朋友庫柏（雅克布彼茨 Jacob Pitts 飾）的笑柄。斯考迪接到米克寄來的電郵，信中希望能和他見見面，看看這個通了幾年信的朋友。然而，斯考迪卻有點猶豫，米克這個名字，貌似是一個男孩子。于是，他拒絕了這個請求。還是別人提醒了斯考迪，在德國，米克是個女生名字。斯考迪如夢初醒，決定要親自前往歐洲去尋找米克。于是，斯考迪和庫柏上路了，還在中途遇到了幾個同行的年輕人。一幫不諳世事的年輕人可不是一路順風，哭笑不得的事情屢屢發生，不過功夫不負有心人，當斯考迪找到米克的時候，他被面前這個金發火辣的美女攝走了魂！瘋狂的度假正式開始。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
